God is good

this song has been on repeat. constant repeat. the first line of the sung took my breath away. then the second verse took my breath away again.

Even when it seems the answer’s no

my heart takes refuge that He is good all of the time, that His promises are being worked out and that He is the same God who showed the israelites He was faithful when He came through on every. single. promise. every one of them. it says “not one of His promises to israel failed, every one was fulfilled. (joshua 21:45)

i can rest cause He proved Himself. not only has He always honored His word but then He sent Jesus to die when i deserved death. He guaranteed His love with the most amazing gift ever…a relationship with Him and His Spirit to dwell in me as a down payment for what is yet to come!
